What’s your preferred play style? Do you like to crush your opponents like Evil Jules? Or do you just want everyone to get along, like Family Man Dan.
Good vs Evil. In this eoisode the team discusses some of the nice and not-so-nice games out there today.
In our Sizzling Games segment Dan took the plunge (geddit?) in Nemo’s War (Victory Point Games), Jules got involved in a Super Fantasy Brawl (Mythic Games), and Steve is still in love the challenging trick-taker The Crew (KOSMOS).
We launch Round 3 of the Board Game Bracket and it’s an absolute doozy: Azul vs Quacks of Quedlinburg. The team try and offer a balanced comparison of both games but ultimnately fall on one side of the battle. Which side do you fall on?
Finally in Swear An Oath, Steve only got halfway through Trismagistus so he doubles down and swears to play Fort. Dan might have knocked over Nemo’s War but he still has Lanterns hanging over his head, and so he doubles down and swears to play Teotihuacan. And of course Jules completed his oath: Heroes of Land, Air & Sea, and his next oath will see him playing Lowlands.
