This week Steve, Def and Conor bring some bigger games to the BBQ – Everdell, Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North, and Clans of Caledonia. But does bigger mean better? Does a premium price mean a prized possession? Funny you should ask because that’s the Topic of the Week: what makes a game valuable? The guys take a deep dive into the games that bring the most value for them.
Steve reveals the winner of the latest match-up on the Board Game Bracket – Dixit vs Bang: The Dice Game – before wrapping up with everyone’s favourite segment: Swear An Oath. Def made amends for his failed oaths by playing both Cartographers and Glenmore II: Chronicles, Conor fudged his way through Tapestry by riding on the coat-tails of his sister, and Steve plays the sympathy card for leaving Kemet on the shelf. New oaths this week are Brass: Birmingham, Pandemic: Rapid Response, Space Base.
